Our Story
From personal project to community resource
Built by credit card enthusiasts, for credit card enthusiasts
Hello from the Founders!
We're a wife and husband team who share a passion for maximizing credit card benefits. As software developers and avid travel enthusiasts, we found ourselves constantly tracking expiring credits, managing multiple cards, and trying to remember which benefits we had available each month.
What started as a personal tool to manage our own credit card portfolio has evolved into something we believe can help many others in the credit card and points community. After months of refining and using it ourselves, we decided to share Use Your Credits with fellow enthusiasts who face the same challenges.
Our Mission
We believe that credit card benefits should be easy to track and maximize. Too many valuable perks go unused simply because they're hard to remember or track. Our goal is to help you get the most value from every card in your wallet.

Why We Built This
Like many in the credit card rewards community, we found ourselves with a growing collection of premium cards—each with its own set of monthly and annual benefits. Spreadsheets became unwieldy, calendar reminders felt disconnected, and we knew there had to be a better way.
As developers, we did what we do best: we built a solution. What started as a simple tracker for our American Express dining credits quickly grew to encompass all our cards and benefits. The real game-changer came when we added notifications—suddenly, we never missed a benefit again.
Our friends in the credit card community started asking about our system, and we realized we weren't alone in this challenge. That's when we decided to polish it up and share it with everyone who could benefit from it.
We're always working to improve Use Your Credits based on community feedback. This is a tool built by the community, for the community.
